Alex Cox (b. 15 December, 1954) is a British film director and sometimes actor, well known for his idiosyncratic style & scripts. His film Repo Man is often credited when one of a number 1 truly independent flick. It was this film that brought him to weak. Cox is the creator of the total of screenplays, & he has also written on film for Sight and Sound, The Guardian, The Independent, and Film Comment. From either 1988 to 1994, he presented Moviedrome on BBC Two, providing introductions to series of alternative or even obscure films.
